Forgive my lack of knowledge, but how do they attach to the car? Thanks.

Plenty of guides on Youtube. I tend to stay away from the clips and put some thin 3M foam tape around the edge. Once there in they ain't coming out :D

Good afternoon, fellow members I have made an enquiry to Avivia car insurance for a modification to fit a set of Climair wind deflectors message below.

Message: Good morning, Can you please confirm if I need to inform you of a modification to my vehicle if I fit a full set of Climair wind deflectors? Awaiting your reply. Kind regards Chris

Here is my reply I received :~
Hello Chris,

Thank you for contacting us.

Upon reviewing your inquiry, I can confirm that we will unfortunately not be able to cover your modification if you had to add it to your vehicle, as this goes against our underwriting criteria.

I do apologize if this was not the response you had hoped for.

Thank you.
Avivia online team.

Has anyone else been faced with this issue?

I read it as they won't cover the deflectors in any claim, but don't forbid you fitting them. Best to get clarification.

Thinking of getting these, they look quite smart, are those the black ones and are the clips for the rear supplied? cheers👍

Thanks for the links Sinless, got an email from Ford they're taking 15% off these at the moment plus I've got a voucher to use, re the tape (link?) did you put it on the outside of the "flange" or both sides and are they secure once fitted, I was wondering if these could be blagged by an unscrupulous person if not 😲, cheers 👍

Replace the double sided tape they come with, with some decent 3M stuff. From experience with Heko get some '3M™ x 5MM AUTO ACRYLIC FOAM DOUBLE SIDED ATTACHMENT ADHESIVE TAPE' they'll not fall then.
