Mike, a decent battery charger would save the run and the petrol.

On page 44 of this thread I reported a battery voltage reading of 12.2 volts at the terminals after a day stood idle. I checked again earlier this morning as the car has not been started since Friday and the reading is 12.12 volts at the terminals so I think that's ok and I'm confident it will start right away when i go out later this morning.

I always check the battery at the terminals, and the car started immediately this morning. I think and hope the module updates have got it sorted.

6 Weeks after the Ford dealer told us about a bolt issue and possible recall, they've said nothing since. Tomorrow, I'm going for a rather stern chat with them.

I don't appreciate spending £28k on a car that within 3 months stopped allowing the passenger door to open as per the manual. Bad enough the manual says it can Autolock at 12mph, but UK cars actually don't.

Starting to get a bit annoyed with Ford.

My Puma Vignale has stood idle for 5 days. I checked the voltage this morning at the battery terminals which read 12.08 volts. It's been cold and damp for those 5 days. The car started immediately and the pads weren't stuck to the discs.

When I start the car my 12 volt plug in meter reads 15.8 volts. This reading settled quickly to around 14+ volts.
