Just seen this on the Ford Owners Forum. Question to Puma owners - is anyone getting the "please say a command" prompt now? If so what sync software are you on?

"Can confirm that 'Please say a command' "disappeared" as part of the sync3 update a few releases back & has remained so. As folks have said - some other commands have changed too."

Try Settings - Navigation Settings - Navigation Preferences - Hazard Spot Warnings. There you can select to show icons on the map, audible alerts, or both.

Please Say Command
=================
You not accidently hit the volume control to adjust the volume of the system voice prompts. While prompt is active, adjust the volume control up or down to your desired setting.

Nope - sound and all settings are all correct. I'm not fussed about the command prompt but the caution warning is very useful and I can't understand why it's suddenly gone. Maybe I'll set the sat nav next time I'm out and see what happens when I approach hazards. They are certainly showing up on the map as ! icons for speed cameras and little digging men for roadworks. The roadwork and queue hazards are also showing on my dash board too.

Ok. I think there are two separate systems at play here and I’m assuming the caution warning is linked to the command prompt for voice commands.

I think I might have sorted the caution voice warning as I checked the Sat nav in full screen and the voice was on mute. I think this will enable the “caution” warning now.

The voice command prompt “please say a command” is totally separate I think and according to another forum we lost that function at the last update. Can anyone confirm they still have it and if so what sync release you are on.

Now my next issue is after my master reset. I’ve lost the security icon on my phone app so cannot set or unset the door opening security notification. I’ve deleted and reloaded the app but it’s still not there. It’s still on my iPad app though - very weird.

Top one is how it should be and still is in my iPad. Bottom one is on my phone. No safety and security.

Gone on the iPad now.

How do I get security alerts back?

The car is connected as it’s showing where my wife has driven it. I also managed to unlock the doors remotely.

The voice command just beeps when I press the button on the steering wheel, I've never heard it say "please say a command".

I'm on latest sync and maps.

Cheers. Do you use the Ford Pass app? If so does it still offer security alerts?
