Rear interior light remains on.

Hi to anyone viewing. Just joined forum as my rear courtesy light has decided to stay on permanently on St Puma, even when car locked. Any ideas? Ended up pulling it out of roof padding and unplugging it. Thanks. Martin.

Welcome to the forum, this might sound daft but have you tried the on/off toggle above the rear view mirror 
if not that then it maybe a sticky micro switch on one of the doors, hope you get it fixed

Hi. Yes I've tried pressing it all over its surface. Haven't tried sensors on doors cos the other lights are dimming as usual so guess its the unit but why suddenly stays on? Did have the grandchildren in car though and fault was immediately afterwards.
