My Pumas called Bob wrote: Wed Oct 30, 2024 8:35 am How about getting an extended warranty which would buy you more time with the Puma, and time to hunt for a future replacement too.

I do hope you stay with the Puma and on this forum a bit longer, Sparks - have always enjoyed your posts
I've still got 6 months before it has to go, but, I'm ready for a change. I was really hoping that when they announced a facelift, they would up their game a bit. I think the dealer is struggling to get one with everything on it at a half decent price point anyway.....
Love this forum, and if I have to go I'll miss it....Probably one of the most grown up ones I've been on. Very few falling outs....😉 I need to hit 5,000 posts before I go.....

You would have a similar experience on the Kuga forum. Another old man's car lol. It's well moderated as well.
2024 Ford Puma 1.0 Vignale 155PS DCT, Grey Matter

2015 Kuga Titanium 2.0 150 Manual, Retro Fitted Sync3 with 3.4 software, F13 maps.

Don’t let yourself be influenced by decades of out of date pre judgements. The VW Audi group generally produce far superior products in every way, that’s why they massively outsell Ford. The Focus really is a much better car and its built much better in Germany too. You could get the Active which is raised up if it’s still available. The best normal version was the 120 diesel but another stupid Ford decision sees it dropped. Im using one for work currently snd seeing a constant 60+ mpg. So only 1.0’s which for me rules a new one out although at least they have a better manual gearbox in them I believe
No out of date pre judgements, not sure where you dragged that up from......They've not made anything I like the look of, so, not a fan, simples.
Looks is certainly not one of the Puma’s strengths, and you like the Yaris, obviously taste varies a lot! There are dozens of totally different and extremely stylish Cupra, VW, Audi, Skoda and Seat, amongst them some of better looking cars on the roads.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.....The clue is in the diversity of shapes and sizes. What you consider 'stylish' would not be thought of as such by others...... I wouldn't go for a car just because someone else said it was 'stylish', if I don't like the look of it, it's not going on my drive, any comments I make about different models are purely IMO.

I find all too often these days I have to make the looks of a car a secondary consideration, that was certainly the case with the Puma, I consider it one of the least attractive cars ive owned, the front especially ugly with its bug eyes, rear is ok ish.

Sorry Sparks but that's where you are going wrong as you are not allowed opinions on here :D . I previously had a Golf and hated it as it was bland and looked like everything else. Oops done it again!

Applies to everyone 🤣There’s always one wayward opinion, the most popular hatchback in the world is bland and looked like everything else, that’s because everyone else copied it🤣
