New puma Order build time
Like STCST I ordered a facelift puma on 14th September. Factory build ST Line X in fantastic red (rare colour around here!) with pan roof, winter pack and DAP. Expected pickup 18th December, fingers crossed. Despite what others think about the facelift I was quite impressed when I took it for a test drive so really looking forward to delivery.

That was very quick for a factory order.
I will look forward to hearing your first impressions of it, in particular the ride quality and those wheels.
2023 Puma ST (1.5 200PS), Desert Island Blue with Driver Assistance Pack.
I sure will Ron, aye them wheels lol,not too my taste but no option eh? Hopefully it'll feel more planted than the Fiesta ST3, terrible car to drive on any roads barring a perfect road surface, best thing about the Fiesta is it's engine and the Magnetic grey paint, matrix headlights, my Golf doesn't arrive till around April,i really miss 4wd.
But I am looking forward to seeing the Puma it looks great and hopefully it will be a step up from the Fiesta ST3 of which we bought at the wrong time,it was stripped of a few standard ST3 options folding door mirrors,B@O,heated door mirrors and few other options that escape me atm,we also didn't get much of a discount either, free metallic paint, ordered October 22 arrival May 23,£28k it had 2 price increases between ordering/ delivery ....mad times all due to you know what
On order Puma ST with pano roof and handling pack
Not in a million years will it feel more planted than a Fiesta ST. The Fiesta ST is the pinnacle of small hot hatch handling bar the Yaris GR. Compared to a Fiesta ST it rocks around on slower roads but at speed it is good maybe 8-9/10ths of a Fiesta ST. But another massive difference is the weedy engine in the FL ST compared to the excellent 1.5 200.Jassyo06# wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2024 7:39 pmI sure will Ron, aye them wheels lol,not too my taste but no option eh? Don’t know how you buy your cars?? But at about the same time you did I came extremely close to replacing the Puma ST with a full spec lifted ST3 Fiesta and the discounts were very good, it was around £25750 otr through carwow and DTD plus there were plenty sitting in dealers for immediate delivery with big discounts and was up to fairy recently. Factory orders directly from Ford dealers is most often a very bad financial decision.
I was being a tad polite with my comments with the Fiesta, it's by far the worst car I've owned/driven and cannot wait to see the back of it,it's skinny tyres find every crack/crevice on the road making it uncomfortable on any journey over 20 miles etc etc, even the Mrs has grown to hate it and she's had 2 Fiestas prior4251 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 9:29 amNot in a million years will it feel more planted than a Fiesta ST. The Puma is my wives car but I'll also be using it for a couple of months,so I'll gladly give my honest opinion of her Puma the good and bad and I am sure the KW coilovers will handle better than the standard ST's
