Glad I got my own dashcam, seems a lot of hassle and money for something that's supposed to be plug and play.

New dashcam iOS update available, with a new firmware update

Apparently fixes an issue with 10 minute recording slots, maybe that’s what I chose rather than 5 minutes

I updated the firmware this morning and now I can download and play the 5 minute files ok. Which means 5 times fewer files per hour of recording

I fitted my own that I had in my Focus. In both motors I’ve managed to make the wires pretty much invisible.

It’s easy if you start at the roofline, tuck it in and then go down the front door edge, tucking in behind the black trim. Then under the back of the glove box and tuck in along the left side of the front console, plug into the 12v socket and jobs a good un.

Mines booked in for next week to have the ford one fitted. I had free vouchers from Ford so had to use them for something

I had mine fitted by Halfords and I must admit no visible wires and hardwired into fuse box perfect job :D

Does the glovebox have to be removed to get to the fuse box?
