So apparently the fuse box on my puma (Titanium 2023) is not behind the bottom passenger cover but behind the glove box. Not sure if it’s a 2023 update or because I have a patrol only (non-hybrid) engine as that’s the only option sold in my country (where we also drive on the right side of the road).
Just thought I’d share. Otherwise the box and layout looks the same.

Also there’s a ground bolt very accessible (you can see it in the top left corner) which is 10mm.

While browsing the Interactive Brochure, I noticed the Nextbase 380GWX. Designed for commercial vehicles it looks promising. I currently have a 522GW but I hate the look in the windscreen. It just doesn’t look professional.

I wonder if anybody actually has a 380GW(X) and they could provide an image to see how it looks.

Let’s face it, for the majority of us a dash cam is just there for peace of mind. It just sits in the car for months untouched, but it would be nice if it looked good.

Lots of small cylinder shaped dash cams without screens so quite discrete. Check out the dash cam forum I referred to in another thread.

Can someone help me figure out how to lay the cable for the rear dashcam? I cant find any videos specifically of the puma and rear dashcam. Running into some trouble and don't want to break the trim.

Look on YouTube for Fiesta/Focus rear cam installation. Other cars to are very similar when it comes to routing the rear cable. Ask questions on dashcamtalk.com/forum. Plenty of expertise on there.

Have fitted a rear dashcam to a Mk7 Fiesta and my current Puma and can confirm near identical installation process.
As Rizmo says search YouTube for a Fiesta video and you won’t go wrong.

Try this for a start: https://blackvue.com/video/ford-fiesta/

As I have ordered a Vignale Auto, I thought I would have a look at my Halfords installed Nextbase hardwire kit on my current car. This with a view of reusing the same kit on the new Vignale. A bonus is they shorted the power and earth leads to fit exactly. Having looked at the YouTube video below it looks incredibly easy.

The side panels came off (and on) easily, and it is exactly the same as the video. The only difference is Halfords used the lower 10mm bolt for the earth.
