Hi, just joined the forum as picking up my 2023 1.5 ST in Mean Green next Friday. 4400 miles on the clock. Moving from an Abarth turismo 165 as need more practical space but still with the Smile factor. Had a focus ST 2.5 back in 2010 and loved it albeit a thirsty animal. Looking forward to the Puma.

Welcome to the forum.
You probably know the 1.5 Puma ST is no more, so you have made a good choice.
I always admired the 5 cylinder Focus ST back in the day...it was immensely tunable but I never owned one.
My first of 2 Focus ST was in 2014 and I thought they were great cars.
Be sure to post photos of your Puma when you get it...meantime here are photos of my 2 Focus ST's. This was back when Ford did a significant facelift on a model.

Yes the old 5 cylinder did sound really good even standard, and yours looked very nice.Howarthshome wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2024 2:38 pmI loved the sound of the focus, I had a magnex backbox on, great pops and bangs but not ridiculous. Have popped a few pics on and will deffo put some up of the Puma.
I would like to take a photo of my car parked under the sign in your last photo, then I would blank out the second name.

Love the colour of the Orange Focus ST. Both nice cars, I presume they stopped the 5 cyl 2.5 when the next gen came out. I had an Audi TT 1.8 5 cyl prior to the Focus, those 5 cyl engines were great, many smiles made, the Focus was way more fun and very chuckable

Just arrived home after picking up the Puma ST from Ipswich. Was a 245 mile drive and I can say I enjoyed every minute. Mainly in sport mode, average 39.7 mpg and had a mixture of speed limits on A14 and M6 and some spirited blasts. Very capable and the seats and driving position were perfect for me. Gonna need a weekend detailing when the weather is dry but I am very impressed. The trip down in the Abarth was fun but after comparison I was so glad I made the decision. Already ordered some bits and bats so will keep me busy and will post photos as and when. Happy Days.
