Would love you opinion pls
So I have a Puma Vignale on order, due in March and I just spoke to the dealer about possible change of order to the facelift, these are the key point: I am torn in what to do!
1 - Face lift has the newer interior, lights etc
2 - Would have to get ST Line X instead of Vignale if I go wit facelift
3 - The discount is less for the face lift and the interest rate is higher (17% higher per month)
4 - Current order ready in March, Facelift would July
5 - Facelift would potentially have better/quicker resale value?? (I dunno)
6 - My favourite colour is Magnetic which is not available in Facelift
7 - Facelift has slightly more modern screen, software and dash and other bits
I assume the actual drive would be the same in regards to handling, suspension and so on.
Any advice would be appreciated, cheers guys
What would you do? Keep current order or go with facelift?

Sounds like FOMO on the new version to me.
Just grouping your points based on my perception of you wording.
Plus:
1. New interior and lights.
5. Potential for better resale value.
7. New screen and software.
Minus:
2. Forced to go with ST Line X over Vignale.

4. Have to wait longer.
6. Forced to go with a second choice on colour.
The resale argument is clearly offset by the additional cost. Waiting longer really depends on whether you actually need the car in March or can wait longer, with July being no guarantee either.
That just leaves you to comparing the newer interior, lights, screen and software vs having the colour you really want. Plus comparing the kit on the ST Line X vs the Vignale.
All personal choices really, as I prefer the ST Line X to the Vignale on the Puma which we bought recently, yet have since bought a Focus Estate Vignale which I also love.
What is your gut feeling?

Yes you need to go with your own gut feeling. You will have one even if you think you dont. 
Other peoples opinions ultimately do not matter because they are not the ones buying the car, you are.
If I were to buy a factory ordered old model now I couldnt help feeling it was second best every time I seen a new model.
This is just my opnion though which as I said shouldn't matter to you.

Lots of dealers seem to have stock building up of the pre-facelift models so you might be able to drive a better deal for your preferred colour . But its your preference but i would most probably wait for the facelift model as im sure more deals will become available after the initial launch but then it depends on how much your are in need of changing your current car.

For what it's worth, the extra cost and wait isn't worth it IMO.
If you are doing a PCP, you can always chop it in next year for the new one or go with the new EV when it's launched.
The only advantage I can see for me would be the more advanced Sync 4 and screen, but that being said, I use Android Auto wireless so wouldn't notice any difference.

No offence meant. I just find it amusing that people still flock blindly to the new model, just because it’s the new model, when there’s more to such a decision.
If it’s your gut feeling, then I agree that’s all that matters nonetheless.

I think overall the pro’s are more for the existing model in my situation, plus I was super happy with the spec, seats, spec etc of the existing order until as you said I got a case of FOMO
. And on top of that I’ve sold my car already and I’m sharing the missus car.

In that case, my suggestion would be to ring another dealer and see what the absolute best deal they can do in your current spec order, as if you are a new customer. Then compare this to your deal and press your dealer further, if your own deal doesn’t compare.
