New Puma ST 1.5 200bhp

Hi, just got my notification and contact from the dealer that my new Puma ST 1.5 in Azura Blue is to be delivered next week. I'll not be getting it until early January (probably to help their new year car sales), I'm not concerned as it'll be a 2024 registered car and all the benefits that brings.

Ordered from Factory, deposit paid on 12th August. Not a bad turn around time for a new car I guess.

Absolutely cannot wait to pull out of that dealership, and open the taps on the motorway home.

upgrading from a 2020 Fiesta ST-Line, 125bhp 1.0lt Ecoboost of which I've had 3 since December 2015...cannot wait to experience the torque and exhaust note.

I am surprised they are not pushing to have it registered and paid for before the end of the month, because this is usually the way.
Regardless though being so close to the end of the year I would be waiting until January to have it registered too. Some people will say it makes no difference but a 2024 car will always be more desirable and be worth slightly more than a 2023 car.
Good colour choice, there are not many Azura ST's on here so be sure to post photos when you get it.
Dont open those taps too far on the way home what with it being a brand new engine.
Again some people will say it makes no difference, but I am old school and always treat brand new cars with gentle respect to give all components time to properly bed in.

yeah, i'll be taking it easy, just the squirt to get up to 70 on the On-Ramp will be enough to satisfy me initially.

yes, only seen one Azura Blue in the wild, so it'll be nice to have a relative rarity.

and i'll be sure to post a photo or two.

my sister is also taking delivery of a Puma ST on the same day, she's getting Agate Black which i think is also lesser spotted and will look like and absolute beast.

Agate Black is definitely, IMHO, the nicest - when clean!

Yes Agate Black looks great clean. Keeping it clean in this weather is an absolute nightmare.

Next one is on order (Estimated time Feb-March) - Desert Island Blue. Looking forward to trying the Ford Performance Seats for a long journey over the Recaros, although I do like the Recaro's and find them very comfortable.

Yes, that looks like a beast. Quite jealous i wasn't offered the black one when we both ordered a day apart.

we're both getting the magnetite ST wheels which will give it an even more of a stealth bomber look.

Those FP seats ARE rare. They are also one of about 8 or 9 manufacturers seat options approved by the German chiropractic association. They are meant to be very very good. Be interested to see how you rate them.
