Nothing official as of yet but i can see the tech guy was connected for 7 minutes !
I didnt see it but Ford Etis will tell you when the car has been connected and what's been done.

Managed to find time to connect the car today after the Official Fix has been applied
The only change i can see after comparing was
APIM 7D0-01-02 027C 0642 8222
to
APIM 7D0-01-02 027C 0442 8220
Wonder where i have seen that before

Checked mine today and the function for turning surround sound is there. Car was factory build and received it a few days ago, maybe the changes are now already done in the factory?

Yes it was only a problem with some of the early builds.

Was there any indication of when Ford would roll the fix out to all dealers? Or, do we still need to nag....

No nothing as yet and as mine has been done so i don't expect a update to show on ETIS , I would suggest either speak to your local dealer or get a case raised with CRC. If your on Facebook you can message them directly from there but always found it easier to get a case raised.

Problem is now the fix has been applied, it doesn't make the difference it should do sound wise when compared to the depth and clarity of the sound when activated on a fiesta B&O play system, or a Puma that was built post march.

I don't think you were ever going to get the sound of the fiesta. The placement of the speakers are just not upto it. It's very much a front centric system. It's missing rear speakers imo. Plus the sub is muffled and hidden in the sidewall.
