Hi All,

I'm Dave, and we've now got a Puma ST in green...and we love it!

I love tinkering with cars, so this would be a good place to join.

We used to have a Focus ST in blue many moons ago...but really wanted an RS in green.....so the Puma ST is as close as we can get (afford) πŸ˜€

Nice to meet you all πŸ™‚

Welcome to the forum.
There's a pretty lively ST community within us, so you should find plenty of kindred spirits.

I took these photos of an Ultimate Green RS at a local ford dealer back in October 2010.
A car like this was totally beyond my reach back then. :)

Nice piccy.. I was once RSOC registrar for Focus RS Mk1 and then later the Mk3. But not the Mk2 unfortunately. Seems to me once Ford discontinued Mean Green paint on the Puma ST suddenly there are so many now disappointed that can't order one. I have modified my Green ST to M260 standard and it is an obsolete flying machine. I was concerned on how it would handle the power upgrade, I need not worry, it is brilliant.

I heard through a trusted source today, that Ford stopped Mean Green on the Puma ST because it attracted the "wrong type of customer" what ever that is meant to suggest?
But ok for the once Fiesta and Focus ST. No sure of the logic here.

I can't see that. Why would they stop the colour and then introduce it on the fiesta and focus. It was probably the most popular colour on the ST.
I would guess that the Azure blue was a very popular colour with the RS crew and as the Fiesta and Focus are nearing their end, the Puma was the best option to re-introduce for a couple of years or at least until the face-lift comes along next year.

The 2024 facelift, anyone know what month it's scheduled to make an appearance. There was some sneak pics a couple of months ago. Ford badge moved, lower driving lamps lifted into the main headlight array and some other trim changes. I'll try and find the pics.
