Fuel economy, on a run
Having just returned from a weeks holiday in the new forest, I thought Iβd share my fuel economy according to the cars trip readings, adaptive cruise set to 66 on the way down ( actually showed 60/61, ) and way back was very similar, again with a steady speed although, this varied due to traffic and roadworks, still, not bad, just hope my next car will better it
St line x 1st edition, it has nearly everything
This was ours from a Southampton run from Warrington and back last year. All on 1 tank...just.

Yes that is really quite impressive. I currently have a running average of 36.8 on my 5 week old ST which I think is also quite impressive.
It's your username that caught my eye though.
Also I was born and raised in the town that is around 6 miles from you...you know the one that used to have a large maternity hospital.
2023 Puma ST (1.5 200PS), Desert Island Blue with Driver Assistance Pack.
Iβve it 43mpg in the ST, my fiesta mk8 1.1 zetec I got 59mpg with a trip up to Northumberland last year, no turbo or battery assist, happy with that

My 36.8 is the cumulative average over the 5 weeks since I took delivery, with every individual journey being no more than 6 miles.
If I was to take a longer open road journey I would be confident of hitting high 40's to low 50's.
I have always been able to achieve very good fuel consumption with all my cars. My previous car for example I could hit mid 40s on a run and that had over 300bhp.

Though to be honest done 13k and just had a service which feels better and so is the mpg
Also didn't buy a full fat ST to hit MPG targets, it sits on normal until it has warmed up then Sport and then a 2 minute tick over for the turbo when parked up
Winter hits mpg with the cold air too
Taking her to Wales at end of the month for a relaxing chill 4 days in a forest log cabin
