Actual Factory Order Lead Times 2023

Having just placed an order for a a new Vignale 155 DCT, Power Tailgate, Panoramic Roof, Spare Wheel and Driver Assistance Pack (24/04/2023).

I would be interested in the real current factory order lead times this year in 2023 (UK). Please note I am not interested in new cars from Stock. So if you have picked up a brand new factory ordered Puma this year, could you let us have the details.

At the Dealers Date: ?

I am fully expecting up to 9 months (if I am lucky). Ford are saying 5 months for a Puma (lie).

It would be nice to have some real world values

Can only speak from my experience, ordered a new st-line x with comfort pack, power tailgate and driver assistance pack in November 2022 and picked it up 2nd March so was about 4 months.

Similar story here so far, ordered at the very end of January, was told could get it in May but they weren't confident. It's currently sat at Dagenham (no idea how long it's been there and if it's on its way to the dealers atm or not). So as far as I know, were on track for 4-5 months

At dealer date : 27/5/23 been to dealers this morning and now changed to 8/6/23

My car had an entry date to factory of 4th April apparently it’s been sat at docks in Holland since 21st of April. Was told there are big issues getting cars off the dock an onto the ferry cars at the front have been sat there months. Yet the cars at the back are moving quite quickly. Also I was told there had been a train derailed at Dagenham which is holding cars up once in to the country. So was told my date will more than likely go back again.

My Vignale ordered 24th March dealer expected end June/July. I have a more realistic expectation of August/September, but, you never know these days...

Three months was the standard pre-Covid time scales. From what I have seen posted so far, I’m getting optimistic

Ordered an ST on 31st March and the broker quoted 6 months. Dealer confirmed this. So, will wait and see.
