Great. I've read about them. Apparently they control the airflow under the car and make you go faster.
The Mercedes F1 team might be interested in those….
Might help them keep up….

They have certainly dropped the ball in the past 2 years. Not sure they will catch up any time soon.

Even though it is technically incorrect for the current season I can apppreciate the humour in this comment...unless it comes from a toxic Red Bull fan of course. ;)

Mercedes are currently second to Red Bull in both the constructors and drivers championships, so are doing as good as can be expected.

I guess that depends on your expectations but with Merc having won the constructors and drivers title 8 years in a row (and in my opinion that should be 9 drivers titles), I would expect a bit more :D

Oh absolutely and I totally agree that Hamilton should already have won 7 titles with the Mercedes team to add to his first with McLaren, but nothing lasts forever.
They will be back on top at some point though.
Here is a photo of my computer room that should show where my allegiance lies. :D

Maybe the wrong forum to discuss this but what I’ve found most interesting about this f1 season is the peaks and troughs all teams have been through except Red Bull (disregarding Singapore). I’d be interested to see if McLaren are genuinely second on pace now or if it’s just where their development cycle is at present compared to the competition and maybe also that their car suits the tracks better? This is also coming from a LH, Mercedes fan.

Unless someone has recently bought a F1 team, maybe a new thread dedicated to F1 would be a good move as it seems popular... :D
