Apparently I have a notification that my car requires a sync update, is this a dealer visit or can I do it at home

It's a DIY job, just follow the destructions from the site when you download it.

Are these not supposed to download and install by themselves over WIFI!

It's hit and miss with WiFi, I think some have had a little success with map updates. AFAIK the sync update needs to be done via usb.

Just the various option packs (assistance, comfort, tailgate, led)

Others had put there options on their signature so I just copied them
