Brilliant idea, but will it work, oh my god and do even dare mention this, sleep mode!!!!

Every time I open a door/boot, SecuriAlert tells me on my iPhone that it was triggered by an ‘unauthorised’ opening. Why am I considered unauthorised?

I don't see 5his on my Fordpass (android) app. Is it an iPhone version thing? Or is it only with certain option packs?

Turned mine off. I don't need an alert every tiime I open the boot or a door

Totally agree as I’ve got 69 messages telling me something I don’t need to know. However, does it not tell you if someone is making an unauthorised entry ie. breaking into your car when it is parked somewhere while you are away shopping?

How would the car know that it is an authorised entry, especially if a pick pocket or burglar has your car keys.
At the very least you can tell the police at what time it was stolen!

I've just set mine to activate from 8pm to 8am when the car is most likely on my drive. I occasionally set it if we are leaving the car for a long period but other than that it's just over night for me. Cuts down the incessant messages.

Good idea. I'm fed up with the volume of notifications, and not only that but they are delayed most of the time too!
