I'm all set on going back to Mazda after 6 years away. There are no options on their cars. You buy the trim level that has the equipment you want. No packs no messing.Sparks wrote: ↑Wed Dec 09, 2020 9:24 am They are called options because they aren't necessary, more desired and they need something to boost the profits. That said, some of the optional safety features should, IMO, be standard across the range, which I'm sure will be in the distant future.
They are already cutting equipment to save money now that the model has started to take off and they want to expand the market downward. Personally, I won't want one with less than I have and when time comes to change, which may influence staying with the brand or not.

One of the best cars I've ever had was my 6 Tourer in Soul Red. Beautiful looking car. Gave it back a little over two years ago with 120,000 on it in 3 years. Never missed a beat. Sorry if i've highjacked the post!Wdf76 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 09, 2020 3:11 pmI'm all set on going back to Mazda after 6 years away. There are no options on their cars. super well built and rattles less than my Puma......
I might sound a little bit negative but my Puma experience has helped me to decide to move on from Ford.
Im looking at non hybrid puma titanium s,due to the incredible spec on them, the have everything including power tailgate, driver assist pack and comfort pack, not sure what to do ,do I get a non hyrid with loads of spec or buy a hybrid with nothing on it?
Remember it is just a mild hybrid. To be honest I didn’t find any difference between my Titanium Auto 125ps and the ST Line X 125ps I took out for a test drive. The cynical among us may believe that adding the word hybrid is just a Ford trick to make it sound more green. If you are looking for some extra kick then simply put it into Sports mode. Book yourself a test drive with and without, there is no obligation to buy
Thought you was going to rent one for the weekend

Yeah I see where you're coming from, 'mild hybrid' is a bit of a fudge but probably rolls off the tongue slightly easier than 'mild 48v electrical belt driven assistance'. As there is a physical connection between the starter generator and the crank they are entitled to call it hybridFirstFord1972 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 3:01 pm Remember it is just a mild hybrid. I could probably only work out the benefit if there was a non hybrid 155 and I could drive them back to back.
Cant rent one down here in plymouth, because the last ford rental place was vospers, and they stopped to doing rentals due to covid,It will be next year before I manage to save enough money to get one,due to inability to obtain finance due to poor past credit history, when I bought my fiesta I paid £12000 cash and was going to finance the other £2000 but couldnt even get that,so I manged to save abit more,
You need to setup a crowd fund
You'll get there in the end. You've already got a smaller Puma, (Fiesta)
