Word on the Greek group is the following:

125hp built October onwards cars will have rear drums instead of disks

Change to the centre speaker

A/C controls moving to the screen.

Anyone know more?

So I gather!

Drum brakes are for non-hybrids

A/C controls on the screen would be a big mistake if they get rid of the manual control.

Anyone know if this is true?

I ordered a 125hp Automatic non-hybrid and I was told it would have rear disc brakes in ST-Line. Not going to accept it if its not as ordered!

I seen a new golf with them a few months ago. I was that shocked I went back to make sure I wasn't seeing things 🤔

I've never understood the issue with drums on the rear. Generally guaranteed maintenance free for the life of the car, do the job and increase the manufacturers margin. It's a win win for them.
