Knocking / Clunking Noise When Turning Hard Right

Update ..
Ford workshop has definitely tightened something up as the rubbing noise has now gone and the clicking/grinding sound is very much less pronounced.

This is interesting because what this tells me is that the tightening up of a few things has “more or less” fixed it … but not completely.

And Ford agree that this is the case so they have booked the car back in for a Steering Column replacement (a two day job requiring a loan car)

So my Puma is booked in for a repair in a weeks time ..

Hi All
i have just had my 2020 puma to Ford Dealer, for a knocking noise coming from steering rack. This is what the dealer said.

Firstly said universal steering joint needed replacing, then said no only the 3 bolts that come loose,

May help someone further down the line.

does every puma suffer from this , and is there a recall?

To answer your questions, no, not all Puma's and AFAIK there has been no recall.
I'm on my second and haven't had any issue.
Where are you based and what Puma do you have?
Ford Puma ST-Line Vignale 155 Automatic.
