Hey all,

This time I have decided to purchase the LED Sequential upgrade from Car Enhancements UK (CEUK), this will replace the standard halogen units the car comes with from factory. You can see the difference between both of them below:

Here is the steps you’ll need to follow to swap the units:

The tools I used:

Plastic Trim removal tool and T10 Torx screw driver attachement.

1. Pop off the mirror cap by pushing in on the the black plastic part of your wing mirror firstly (Blue arrow), then insert your plastic trim removal tool under the mirror cap (Red) and pull it along the underneath of the cap to the left, (Green) this will allow you to pop off the cover.
* I forgot to photo this part before I changed it so ignore the fact the image is an after shot instead.

2. Once your mirror cap is off then this is where you will need your T10 Torx driver in order to unscrew the original lens out, simply unscrew this screw to release the lens from the mirror (please remember it will still be connected by wire so don’t just yank it out, also be sure to keep this screw safe as you will need it to secure the new unit in.

3. Find the connector on the back of the original lens and twist anti-clockwise, this will release the bulb out from the lens and allow you to unplug the bulb - the LED unit connects back into where this bulbs removed from.

4. Once you have plugged in the new LED unit to the bulb socket you can now push it into the mirror and secure it by using the T10 Screw from the original housing (be careful not to pinch the wiring putting this back in as it will sit freely behind the unit!):

* Personally at this stage I would check the unit is working correctly when you indicate before putting the mirror cover back on.

6. Reattach the mirror cover and click it back into place, you don’t need a lot of force to achieve this:

Here is videos of them working from two different angles (ignore the kids voices in the second lol):

If anyone has anything to add or any questions regarding this feel free to drop me a message.

I’ll try and keep adding more and more how to guides about changing bits and bobs on the Puma to make life easier for folk.

This is a great tutorial and with the added step by step, (almost) guide and photos should convince anyone thinking of this upgrade to go ahead and do it.
I added a basic "How To" with regards to fitting these, some time back. I still have mine, they really do the Puma some justice and should be a factory option or a standard fitment.
Go ahead and try it. I did mine on a nearly new Puma. Follow this tutorial, you should not go wrong. DB :D

An excellent step by step 'idiot proof' guide. 8-)
I would not have known about this if it wasn't for the thread revival.
I like how the lens is tinted.
£60 plus delivery, which is probably reasonable for what you get.

Hi All,

For those of you who are willing to wait a little longer, they’re also available at AlieExpress for a fraction of the price… I fitted these on mine a few months ago…
I don’t know if the ones from CEUK are a lot brighter but the pictures are taken at a full sunny day.
Great “How to” btw❣️👍🏻
