audio shutdown

Hi
Does anyone have a way of increasing the amount of time before the the audio shuts off when the ignition is off. I was parked under trees in a dark area whilst waiting for the wife, radio goes off and the only way to switch back on is to put the ignition on which meant the auto headlamps come on. Doing this every 4 minutes is a bit of a pain, might have been getting some funny looks with lights going on and off !!!!!

You just press the volume button and i think the radio will come back on .

Just tried again but no joy, screen just stays black

Mine turns the sync unit on as double checked even before pressing start on the car. You have to press the middle of the actual button where it says Vol
