My 75 year old neighbour bought a Kuga from Stoneacre. It looked decent with 27k on the clock but was overpriced in my opinion. Titanium 16k on a 16 plate .
He’s already had a new clutch fitted under warranty.
However I checked the MOT history and found some major mileage issues. I asked him to check the mileage on the service record but he says there is no book.
Not sure how to advise him really. He’s had it a couple of months.
I hate Stoneacre I really do.

I thought the latest technology in mileometers means they can't be messed with. The dealer and Ford should have service record details. I would definitely pursue this, doesn't look right at all.

If you think he will care I would go through the mot history with him and offer to speak to Ford and Stoneacre.
A work mate just traded his kuga in , quite well specced with 40 k, 16 plt and got 9k for it
He needs to contact his local trading standards office for advice, also it is an offence to knowingly sell a clocked vehicle which you would think Stoneacre know they did since they would have done some checks on the vehicle
