I had my 1er for 11 years (I don't know if you are familiar with how we use our cars in Malta, but we tend to keep cars for a long time since we are approx. 26km across we take long to ramp up milage) the only thing I miss is the rear wheel drive. For the rest the Puma for just a 3 cylinder 1 litre engine is FUN to drive I'm impressed espcially in sport mode. The first time I went to test drive I was caught off guard, its nifty and quick on the road. Its definitley much more economic than the 1er.

I heard a lot of good things about this ecoboost engine from Fiestas, I had the infamous N47 on the 1er so at the 80k mark it started giving me trouble one after the other timing chain, high pressure fuel pump + injectors, dpf and egr , belt tensioner, wobbly crank pulley, dual mass flywheel it was time to let go and have some years of peace with a new car.
