Puma WiFi Hotspot ?

Hi, I have just collected my Puma last week (only took 10 months from ordering !!!) and i noticed that the `wifi hotspot` option has been removed from the Ford Pass connect setting on Sync 3. I have contacted my local Ford garage who has told me this is true that it has been removed by Ford.

I am just asking anyone/everyone out there is this true ? Has everyone else lost there wifi hotspot ?

Looking on the Ford UK website it still mentions about the car having a WiFi hotspot which you can connect up to 10 devices. I know that it was done through Vodaphone on subscription and there is a special website - Vodaphone Internet in the car.

Is the garage telling me porkies ?

Check your sync software is up to date. Ford Pass app still shows wifi hotspot under features and settings. Think this then takes you to Vodaphone. I've never used it so not sure. Bluetooth connection is ok for me and many others. Use your house wifi when at home.

The Wi-Fi hotspot comes at a ridiculous price from Vodafone and you have to sign up with them....Not sure how many use it, but, would make a guess of maybe 2.... ;) :D

I thought the hotspot facility was deleted with the TCU / modem fiasco last year when vodafone kicked off about the modem use ? My 22 plate ST doesn't have the hotspot option.
Full fat ST in Magnetic, DAP, Performance pack, panorama & tailgate :-) - ordered end of March delivered end of May LOVE IT
