Headlights and rear light clusters. When polishing/waxing the car what do other owners use to keep these items in tip top condition.

I just use glass cleaner, or occasionally I have some waterless wash/wax I give them a quick clean.
St line x 1st edition, it has nearly everything

I've ordered some RainX plastic water repellent.

I use the same sealant as on the paintwork

Was wondering if the heat from the headlamps would be a factor in what to use.

I don't think LEDs will generate much heat.

I rarely drive at night so I'm not sure how hot the headlamp covers get but I take your point, thanks.

I put cover protection on headlights, with UV filters...so as you see on some cars, especially on Megane, Octavia...DRL are yellow, green and similar, because of sun etc...so this cover is excellent against that and of course against little rocks...
