Silly question, could this be mounted on a non ST puma version?

No not completely.. okay not a huge amount listed..and no remapping available. But they do do a couple of items. Including a free flow air filter. Take a look at their website.indigorider wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 4:41 pm Silly question, could this be mounted on a non ST puma version?
You never know. Why not write to them and ask what if anything is planned, they usually always reply.
There’s also Pumaspeed with some mods for non-ST.
It’s in the modification section.

It's a real shame the 235 tune isn't covered by warranty as I would be straight down to get it fitted. I feel a little cheated now the MK8 Fiesta ST has the 320nm as the supposed hike we got to balance out the weight has been negated now.
As I ponied up the £400 to extend my warranty to 5yrs / 100k miles I guess I'll be staying stock.

I'm still pondering warranty or not, I may go for it later in the year....summertime.

The extended warranty is a genuine Ford warranty extension BUT it must be purchased before it is registered / you take delivery.
It's a mere £400 and with all the electrical stuff in modern cars it's money well spent in my eyes assuming you intend to keep the car that long.

I don't have the extended warranty as I don't tend to keep my cars more than 3 years.
In all honestly if you decide to fit the mountune ST induction kit* and you then unfortunately have the possibility of a warranty claim. The kit is simplicity to fit and just as easy to remove. So who would know. Like wise the Mountune throttle body is a relatively easy fit and removal.
Definitely a nice tweak, and whilst power gains are small, throttle response is much improved.
A recommended upgrade, in my opinion, and one that has next to no detrimental impact on the engine. That said any further upgrade such as the remap M235 then maybe you may want to hold off if you're worried about the warranty.
*One to thing to bear in mind however, the induction kit requires the Ford original plastic airbox spring clips to be reused. So be extra careful not to break them when swapping the clips over, as you cannot buy them as a spare. (You have to buy a complete new airbox if you do).
