Water leak in driver footwell

Hi has anybody had or got a water leak in driver side footwell my mate who had his puma around same time as me has soaking wet mats. I know we have had a lot of rain lately but a car should be at least dry on the inside especially as it’s only 3 weeks old.

Is it water or is it coolant, if it's coolant you have a matrix problem, should show up if you have limited or no heating inside car.

I’ve seen this mentioned before but can’t remember if its on here or the ST club on Facebook but I think they had water ingress causing the digital dashboard to flicker.

Does it have a pan roof if so check the drain tubes aren’t blocked.
No roof check under the bonnet at base of windscreen normally drains there that can get blocked with leaves

I had this in my focus. from new. the drain for the condensed water on the A/C had come off and it was draining into the footwell. was fixed under warranty
