I do wish that the speed limiter could be turned on by default in the Puma rather than have to turn it on every time I drive the car. I do sometimes forget in the mornings and have to drive through a number of 20mph limits to get out of my local area and find it very helpful.

That would be a nightmare scenario for me. Not sure when people started needing limiters to keep within a limit. When I'm in an average speed zone I use the cruise rather than the limiter, all other areas I just drive within the limits. I like to know I can accelerate out of a situation if needed.
I know that they are now compulsory, it won't be long before they make it so you can't turn them on and off and they will automatically keep everyone at the limit. Of course they have to make the traffic sign recognition more accurate first.. ;)

I don't want the car to have any control at all. I don't even use cruise control. I can park just fine and use both my legs. If I want to go over the limit I will and I don't want a 'pinging if I do. All these driving aids and self drive cars are taking the fun out of driving. The driving assist that I think is the best is ABS. Other than that...not interested.

The speed limiters are being introduced as a pre cursor to autonomous driving, for now, the driver can override it, but in the future it will be fixed, but, self driving cars are many, many years off yet,
St line x 1st edition, it has nearly everything
