My dealer just said they can't access the software to get updates and my new delivery date of 31st March is just a 'worst case scenario'. So Frustrating.

So, my dealer told me last week that it was already there.....who do we believe. Anyway 2 weeks which means probably 4.
You mean Bill Hardaway. Yes he emailed me yesterday after the dealer did to confirm its arrival at Flushing. What was interesting was when chatting to the dealer, he said I'd done them a big favour because after my original contact with Lisa Brankin and Bill H, Bill had phoned my dealer and the dealer was then able to raise the issue of another 4-5 cars that were long overdue and that they had no information on. Apparently all those cars have now arrived at Flushing. This only happened because Bill phoned the dealer but the dealer says that he would never be able to phone Bill. Within the Ford system, you are only allowed to talk to the next department up the chain. You can't break out of that chain if things go wrong. The dealers get very frustrated because they get angry customers (like myself) coming in but with the dealer being kept in the dark, the perception by the customer is that the dealer is being obstructive. I hope they can sort this culture thing out because it must be costing them custom.

Well all I can say that the communication that you originally started and I jumped my or may not have helped us. So, as far as I'm concerned, it could be a result. However, when Bill informed me that it would be at the dealership within 2 weeks....I will not hold my breath. Anyway, I go away in 2 weeks so won't be able to pickit up anyway.

So, the Puma landed this morning - 8.30 am!

ST Line-X 155. Added Comfort, Driver Assistance, Electric Tailgate. Specification is what's expected these days. Rubber pedals, no scuff plates - no real biggie as they can easily be added. Rombat Battery. Time will tell how that goes. 4 disc brakes. Car was built in Oct 21 so seems to be a distribution issue at all points in the chain. 100 miles so far today. Impressive is the word. It WILL come at some point - out of most people's hands at the moment.

No paper handbook - all digital now. Just a small "quick start" guide. No service book - yes, you guessed it - digital. So will keep all service receipts/records in a separate folder to prove its been carried out.

Tyre inflation kit took a bit of finding 😀🤣. It's in the boot behind a panel on the left. Fuel filler thingy was in glove box.

X4 floor mats with red stitching - not the rubber type.

Really pleased you have finally got yours and yes it’s a shame there are some minors bits not there . Getting excited now because mine is at Flushing now and had been since last week , I am concerned on how much longer I will be waiting now as hearing rumours that there is a back log getting them out of Dagenham on to their transport lorries to the local Dealerships as I am only in Essex myself . Mine was built and gate released 9 /11/21 and was originally expected by 25/12/21. Anyway happy motoring in your now.. 😉
