Thanks Neil - your link is one of those I have been looking at. Any issues with kinking?NeilS wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 11:57 am I use this one on my K4. The original pony Karcher 6m one was too short and prone to twisting. I am sure they do ones with suitable attachments to fit your requirements, or you can buy conversion kits.
My K5 (yes I have two Karchers) came with a 10m hose as standard and is easier to unwind and more workable being able to leave the washer in situ.

None at all. Don’t wind it up too tightly when you’re done and prior to use, unwind it fully and lay it flat.
I use an aftermarket ‘gun’ with a swivel adapter which also helps prevent twisting and kinking - details are on this thread somewhere.

I always wind/unwind as you have suggested. I've just found the earlier thread with the swivel.
Thanks for your time.

Yeah I'll get some up after I've washed it next.

You can use a very mild APC or one you have diluted to a weaker solution. Would need to be gently worked in and immediately wiped off with a damp cloth. Some APC’’s can cause leather to fade so it wouldn’t be my first choice if you’re unsure of strength or dilution ratios.
Autoglym’s leather cleaner is nice and easy to use and not expensive. I always have a bottle of this in my kit and use as when needed. I also condition the leather twice a year. It brings back that Matt factory finish and helps to stop the leather drying out and cracking
If you have Autoglym’s Interior Shampoo, then you can also use this - apply via a microfibre. Don’t spray direct and then buff with a clean side or preferably a different cloth.
However, If it’s not overly dirty and you just want to give it a general clean, a damp microfibre cloth with warm water can be just as effective.

Thanks, need to give the outside a good clean , spent the last few days in the not so sunny lakes. Always keep it clean inside just noticed a couple of water type spots on the leather , wiped them off with a damp cloth just wanting to clean properly and a little protection.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
