I’m already prepared....will have to do the Fiesta as well.

Will probably snow foam to soften and loosen (just to be sure), and I’ve got a detailer spray that can double as a drying aid too

@NeilS what's your preferences for 5L Iron & Fallout Cleaner?

I use Bilt Hamber Korrosol.

Not the cheapest but definitely the best I’ve used.

Unless you’re doing loads of cars, 5L would last you forever but like most things, the more you buy the cheaper it becomes per litre.

1L should be sufficient as it isn’t a product that you’d use during every wash, not even on the wheels unless of course you only wash your car twice a year especially if you’ve put some protection down.

You don’t need to saturate the panels, just spritz over ensuring all areas are covered.

Mine got its 1st wash today (4 months/111 miles)

Am glad to say I didn’t find any obvious paint issues or panels misaligned as some others have found

Well I was going to do the sync update today, but instead spent several hours doing this......

Wheels and tyres cleaned (faces, barrels and backs of spokes) Pre wash, contact wash (inc door sills and shuts), decon (fallout & tar) towel dried, hand polished, old school paste wax, wheels waxed, plastics and tyres dressed and windows cleaned.

The inside is getting done tomorrow. No rest for the wicked.

I did mine last Monday as I had a few days off, bought some autoglym polish and sealer, thought I’d try some magma, washed car and sprayed on and waited for it to turn red....it didn’t, instead it went white, panic moment as I thought i had damaged the paintwork , quick pressure wash off and all came good..phew, anyway, it looks nice now
