Personally I’d ask (tell) the dealership not to wash it prior to my collection unless they use a dedicated valet company or detailer who will clean it properly and with care. The only problem is that I can’t see many dealers willing to pay for that quality service. They probably employ a garage hand to do a quick wash and dry using cheap well used products and materials or will pay a generic mobile car cleaner who is working against the clock. With most things you get what you pay for.
As I enjoy car cleaning/valeting as a hobby, I would rather it left to me so I can clean, decontaminate and deal with any light marring incurred from where it left the factory until getting my hands on it. I imagine that most cars (if inspected closely enough) will have some light marks from transit etc. It’s just how OCD you want to be. Chasing perfection will only leave you tired and disappointed
If it’s not your thing, you could still go down the first route of asking them to leave it and then take it to a detailer yourself to get any paint correction/coating done. At least that way you’d know what you’re paying for.
Or finally, like 99% of people who aren’t as OCD, let the dealership clean it and then look after it as you see fit/what suits
