Car cleaning and valeting discussion
What would you recommend for cleaning the sensico seats? Going to property clean the Fiesta this weekend ready for the “drop in value” px conversation and having a clean car must help… nothing that is too expensive as the car is hopefully going in the next couple of weeks?

Or if you wanted to go generic (as in not specifically a leather cleaner) cheap and readily available, Autoglym Interior shampoo. You can then use it on future cars for the rubber seals, plastics, carpets and any other upholstery. Mild with a nice scent and easy to use.
At the end of the day, you’re not looking for a deep clean and protect, just trying to spruce it up and remove any obvious marks or stains that a dealer will look to maximise on. I wouldn’t worry about protecting the seats after.

Magnetic ST Line X FE. HFPT, Panoramic roof, DAP, Fixed LED, 19” Alloys,
Thanks, I’ll nip out and get some of that and will give it a general spruce up over weekend, I’m still very much in the camp of enjoying cleaning my own car, although still searching for a “new” chamois leather to replace the one I first got in the early 90’s, anything you get now just isn’t quite as good
I use the Autoglym Instadry and it works a treat!AMS1969 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 11:59 am Thanks, I’ll nip out and get some of that and will give it a general spruce up over weekend, I’m still very much in the camp of enjoying cleaning my own car, although still searching for a “new” chamois leather to replace the one I first got in the early 90’s, anything you get now just isn’t quite as good

I recommended that previously.
Just make sure it’s wet first and that the panels are really clean. Unlike other drying towels, there’s no deep pile to collect any bits that you may have missed or settled prior to drying.
