Hello everyone
Would a tyre 175/65H14. be able to fit a fiesta with tyre 195/55 R14, it’s one I bought off eBay for my old fiesta for a spare, a colleague at work has a fiesta with no spare and I have offered it to her
Cheers guys....

As a spare to get you to safety yes.

Would I run with mismatched tyres no.

Our lass had a puncture last year. The garage didn't have a correct size replacement and lent me a slightly different size over night.

Car felt awful.

Ok thanks, so if I tell her it should only be used as a get you home/ garage/ tyre centre, that would be ok..

I was a bit wary of using an R16 as a get-me-home substitute for my R18's. I fitted it to the front N/S just to see how it felt (awful, I imagined), but it wasn't too bad at all, just pulled a bit to that side on heavy braking.

You shouldn’t have been doing heavy braking with a temporary 50 mph wheel/tyre :D. I once drove over a hundred miles at 50 mph on one late Sunday evening.

You're right, I just wanted to see how well it held up. So it's in the megabox, and of course will never see the light of day.
