Asked for a Ford genuine part, plus someone mentioned they don’t have the software to calibrate the camera on the Puma.

OK, So mines just been replaced, I had a call from them this morning saying that they could recalibrate the camera as it's the same as the Fiesta, so was able to cancel the calibration at the dealers.
Anyway, on the way home the lane departure was working better than before, so something has improved.. :)
It's in on Friday for the camera update and door moulding inspection.

Confirmed today, glass is the same as the Fiesta.

Which begs me to ask the question.

Why is the excess on the Puma £140 for glass yet only £95 on the Kuga?

Anyone recall a Fiesta glass excess?

That would depend entirely on your insurance company. Mine, for the Puma, (LV) was only £95 excess (though I guess I'll pay at renewal time!).
Tell them that calibration is same as Fiesta as well.

Just dug out some old paperwork for my fiesta st2 policy from 2019 with Churchill.

Windscreen excess was £75 replacement £10 repair with autoglass.

I too am insured with LV this year and my policy states a £95 excess for replacement.

The question is do you declare this claim to future insurers upon renewal. There are some long discussions regarding this online. Are you witholding info etc. Seems pedantic, but is it worth the risk....
