Anyone use the duxback windscreen sealant for winter?

If it's good enough for airliners.....

Your thoughts please, before I buy it.

Ta.

Not tried that one specifically, but personally I don't like any of those hydrophobic windscreen coatings. I find they cause the water to bead up (yes I know that's what they're supposed to do!) but then the water drops have an almost "milky" appearance that I find really distracting. Others swear by them though...

Love the stuff. Yes, at some point it seemed to smear whatever it was over the windscreen, but haven’t see it in ages so don’t know what caused it. And yes you can drive along at 70 without the wipers running.

Do bear in mind that with auto wipers running, when it detects rain it also puts the lights on.

I've used rain-x before and don't know why I stopped now. but remember in rain anything over about 40mph and wipers were off.

Thanks all. I'll give it a go. Have been using rain X up to now. I'd seen duxback sometime ago and was reminded of it earlier when flicking through the Ford accessories site for Puma. Only 18.99 on there, out of stock mind.....
