Remember the good old days when the only extravagance when buying a new car was whether to choose alloys, or electric windows? (Can't afford a Sierra GL, so I'll add alloys to my L instead  )

Just for a laugh, here's the sales patter from issue #2 of Auto Express magazine.

So much simpler back then ;)

The good old days , remember them well.
I still have a few escort and fiesta brochures from 86/87 with the XR2 & XR3i highlighting the models.
Nice and easy to order unlike todays minefield of prices and options list.

Could be fixed with a 13 mm spanner and a screwdriver, probably more reliable also.
