Any 155 owners care to comment on the cars ability to pull from 30 mph in fourth gear. The 125 doesn't like fourth until 40 mph.

No problem at all. Mine wants me in 5th well before 40mph. Pulls well from 30 in 4th. Brilliant in 6th from 60. Almost dieselesq

Mine pulls ok in normal mode, torque for 125 non hybrid 170nm, 210 for hybrid and 155 is 240 Nm at 1750 revs.

Pulls really well in all gears. It's a great set up, especially when you keep the engine at peak torque.

It's at the top end when things start to get a bit ragged and strained. I rarely venture above 4k rpm.

I shift at 3k rpm which will drop you back to peak torque. 4k rpm when I'm having fun.

Sport mode, full hybrid battery = 😁😁😁

You should check it in MHEV 125, just to know how bad it could be :) That's the real "doesn't like", but to be honest I should say "can't" :D
I drove 125 and 125 MHEV and there is huge difference in pulling at low rpms. It's disaster in MHEV.

Not noticed any problems pulling away in 4th from 30 in the 125. Lot's of average speed (30mph) cameras around the city lately, so normally doing about 32/33 on the speedo until the end, then accelerate away. As I said, not really noticed any stress. I'll take more notice on the next one.

Have an ST Line x First edition plus fully loaded and I find most of the time I am driving around town at 30 MPH in third gear as the whole car vibrates if put in to 4th gear and does not stop vibrating until it reaches 43 MPH. I find the 125 very underpowered and it is slow to reach 40 from 30 if left in 4TH gear.

So, I've been out and about today and paid attention to what was happening with the gears etc (don't usually think about it). It held steady at 32mph on the speedo (that's 30mph on mine) in 4th, no juddering, then, when accelerated away I didn't experience any juddering either. That said, I didn't floor it or anything just gently sped up, I'd need to drop it down to overtake or anything like that. So, third would have been ideal for the car, to be safe.

3@30 4@40 5@50. That's how I've always driven. 3rd puts you right in peak torque should you need to gas round a hazard. It seems learners are taught to lug these days (highest gear possible), that's eco driving not advanced driving.
