Ambient lights

Hi
Just got my new Puma ST-Line Vignale a few days ago, been looking through the manual and it says Ambient lighting, with a choice from the Synch 3 Menu
I assumed it would not be able to change the colour perhaps increase the intensity or switch it off.
However, can't see any ambient lighting in footwells, just around the cupholders. There is no ambient lighting choice in the Synch3 Settings.
It also mentions Android Auto(you can switch on and off)? Do we have to have the phone connected via cable for this choice?
Does anyone else have any ambient lighting or is it meant to mean the ST version

Not noticed the footwells but my door storage trays have lights in them at night.
ST Line X 155 Agate Black with comfort pack plus spare wheel( sold :( )

The Ambient lighting is fitted to all models AFAIK. Same glow in the footwell as in the cupholders, not changeable.....Not sure this can be turned off and on, haven't tried it but the dash light dimmer might affect it???
Android auto only works when connected to USB port. Wireless Android auto will be introduced when cars are fitted with Sync4.

I have footwells, cupholders and door pockets
Full fat ST in Magnetic, DAP, Performance pack, panorama & tailgate :-) - ordered end of March delivered end of May LOVE IT

PUMA ST-X Plus First Edition Plus in Agate Black with comfort pack :-) retired June 2022

Hi Looks like I have ambient lighting, just not very bright, more noticeable in door pockets, than footwell

Just checked and I also have footwells, door pockets, cup holders

A handy hint… put something white in the door pockets, it reflects the blue light and shows it up.

I only have ambient lighting in the two cup holders area. Don’t recall seeing them anywhere else.
Magnetic ST Line X FE. HFPT, Panoramic roof, DAP, Fixed LED, 19” Alloys,

Definitely footwells, door pockets and cup holders for me. Might have seen it in the arm rest around the USB port :?
