Paint chip repairs
Some small chips on the bonnet have occurred. What has anyone used or done to remedy ? Was thinking of the touch up brush from Ford but don’t want to make the chips look worse than they are ! Colour is lucid red. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
Maybe of use to you.

I ordered some off ebay for a small chip on the leading edge of the roof. It has a brush as well as a needle applicator which probably works by capillary action or something. Wipe the needle clean and the paint then begins to flow again. You have to be quick as otherwise the blob at the end of the needle gets bigger!
It worked fine for me on Desert Island Blue. I wiped the needle and then very quickly stabbed at the very small stone chip and now you can barely see it, even up close.

Did you buy the primer too? I have a couple of small bonnet chips and it looks like they are down to the metal.Smartin wrote: ↑Thu Apr 22, 2021 2:26 pm I ordered some off ebay for a small chip on the leading edge of the roof. No, I didn’t. Have got another chip to deal with on the bonnet and one on the lower front bumper to try tomorrow. Hopefully, I will be as lucky as I was with the needle applicator last timeStoopo wrote: ↑Sun May 01, 2022 11:48 amDid you buy the primer too? Use a needle applicator and free touch up paint from ford wouldnt know they were there. Got one in the front plastic at front edge of bonnet damaged slightly so that one will be left alone.
