I've decided to scrap it, apparently it's not worth much now the clip is off....

Wise decision. Invest in a decent motor that can hold more than a bag of sand. ;)

It's limited to 50 kg , that is what it says on the bottom of mine.
That said , for balance while driving it's best to carry loads as low as possible

I don't think it was anything to do with actual weight, more that I'd put the floor back wrong.

Hi Sparks I know this is an old thread, but did you ever get these clips replaced? If so how much did it cost?

I had a similar issue with mine , both sides with plastic clips breaking after ( stupidly) lifting boot floor while there was heavy items in it .

I super glued mine , but not ideal, specially when I will handing back the car for replacement later this year.

No, I just left it as it didn't reduce any functionality. Traded that Puma in for my new one.
I just keep the boot floor in the lower position now, just in case...

There is a lower/higher boot floor position?

Yep...Don't know if yours is up or down....Just lift with the handle and pull it forward.....Then back to whichever level you want... Best video I could find at short notice.... :D

Didn't watch the video just had a look. Mine was down. Did not even notice the lip for it to sit on and it never occurred to me it could sit on top of those spring loaded things.....just thought they were for holding the floor up when accessing the megabox. So thanks 😁
