As for the pics of the sensor location....Are we sure? Mine opens when I kick to the right of there.

Hard to know which way I'm looking in those pics, although it looks like a more substantial build than mine. You can't see daylight in yours. Perhaps the new build floor area is longer.

My Puma was built December 2019 and has the rectangular box, the one where the space saver wheel doesn't fit. looks like sensor location depends which box you have.
Puma ST-Line-Vignale 155 manual, magnetic grey, DAP, electric tailgate. New in December 2021.
