No wireless carplay unfortunately. Needs hardware and ford are a bit behind. I use the usb in the centre armrest console and throw the phone in there too. No phone or cable to see.
I wouldn't say ford are behind on wireless sync. Sync4 has it in the Mustang Mach-E. Fully expecting the focus, fiesta and puma to get Sync4 in their next mid-mk-update in the next few years. Whether or not they'll be A4 landscape like the Mach-E, I doubt, but certainly some form of sync4.

The only issue I've ever had with any of Fords tech or software is everything always seems to be work in progress, always unfinished and never ahead of the game. I'm glad there's apple car play or android auto.

CarPlay to air adapter is good. I have it and it works a treat.
When the iPhone is connected to the wireless CarPlay adapter can the phone still use its 4g data connection to stream music etc please?
Thanks
CarPlay is essentially a dedicated mirror of the iPhone’s functionality, everything is still streamed to the phone, but visual and audio output is on the car’s display.
