A pheasant ran out infront of me last week doing 50 in a 60 zone I had no chance of missing it. I cannot believe how much damage it has done to the grill. Ford want £347 to replace it!!

Avoid Pheasants!!

Ouch.

I’d be sticking that pheasant onto a hot grill and serving it up for lunch.

The front grill is proving to be a bit flimsy/brittle/weak anything hits it and it's gone... :o

Yes, I agree, it's not very durable. And how Ford can justify £347 for a lump of moulded plastic I cannot imagine.

The front grill obviously is not pheasant proof , but should it really ?
all these parts are designed to break upon impact so the people inside the vihicle don't have to absorb the whole impact.
Wich really makes a difference if you are in a real nasty collision.
Cars and parts of them are replaceable people are not.
