All, the sales team contacted Ford this morning and they have confirmed that the vehicle is a 125 which was incorrectly registered as a 155. Back to the drawing board. Thanks to everyone for the advice.
If it’s the car/spec/price that you want, ask the dealer to sort out the admin error with the DVLA prior to collection and payment.
If they want the sale they will, if not they’ll only have the same issue when the next potential buyer comes along.
Of course, if they agree to do it, you’ll need some sort of sweetener for all the waiting you’ll have to endure

All sorted now, getting a 155 from another branch, the other branch agreed to give me it for the same price with same specs and similar mileage. All being well I’ll be picking up on Thursday morning....
Doesn't surprise me they don't know a 125 from 155
