Just looking at the recent sync update where members have lost DAB logos. I had my body control module updated which supposedly fixed the 🦶 opening tailgate.... That hasn't worked😁

Went through Twitter to Ford Uk and did get a response just waiting to see if the dealership responds...

HI Stephen, we have escalated your concerns to the Ford Business manager responsible for DG Weaver group to establish how / when you could get these updates looked at. ^Aaron

Keep us informed as would be interesting to know. I am sure that they said that the vehicles should be able to OTA updates but they might have now dropped that

Right I’ve had an answer back off Ford’s.
Apologies Stephen our understanding was DG where planning to reach out to you to explain the findings they undertook.
They have re-checked with Ford technical who concur that updates indicated on ETIS should only be applied if their appears to be a fault with the vehicle relating to these specific modules. ^Aaron

Obviously you have a fault then, something doesn't work as it should. Always worth a try or another dealer might be more approachable.

There is an ACM module update which cures surround sound issues, dealer told me up to four hours to sort and no guarantee of success first time which means a hire car, not courtesy as they charge now for extra cleaning due to pandemic. I'll give it a miss this time.
