Just pulling this thread out from the archives. I have all things allowed and enabled on my phone for FordPass. I use CarPlay which I consider mandatory, and as yet not a single journey recorded in a week. Is it right that with CarPlay enabled nothing gets recorded?
I do have it connected to bluetooth as well and done all the FordPass settings as seem logical. Any quick fix that anyone knows of?

I had all the settings right in the phone and as I thought on the car too. The fix in the end was to disable CarPlay on the Sync 3 screen, connect the phone, and open FordPass from the ‘Mobile Apps’ menu on the Sync 3 screen. It then throws a further prompt to allow it all to work. Then CarPlay can be enabled again. Been working a charm since.
