Has anyone else found that super unleaded pump nozzles don't fit into Puma?

No pal, generally found them to be the same as unleaded 95 nozzles. Tried a different forecourt?

Sure it's unleaded you tried and someone didn't mix up the nozzles ;)

Not found one that fits yet, tried 4 different places.
Been waiting for tank to empty before trying again which I'll do tomorrow.
I reckon London just has a lot of crappy bashed up petrol nozzles....

Is there any advantage to Super? I have heard it gives better performance and MPG (it didn't with my last car), and contains additives that keep the engine clean (having used el cheapo Tesco fuel for the last ten years I can't say it made any difference. But is the extra cost worth it? Is there any actual data to support a claim?

I think it is marginally better than the cheapo tesco fuel and gives better MPG, however also costs more so purest for MPG there's probably nothing in it. Wouldn't say it makes much of a difference with engine health in the ecoboost engines that regular servicing wouldn't sort/negate.

Here's a bit of light reading for you.

https://hyperchips.co.uk/is-there-any-b ... -unleaded/

I ran all my ST's on super unleaded from day 1. So it's hard to know how different the car ran on 97ron compared with 95ron. Performance engine, performance fuel right......? Since buying the Puma I've only used standard or 95ron unleaded. I could switch the Puma to 97/99ron and see if it makes any difference over time. Your opinion will be based on placebo effect after just one tank of Super....

Fuels may change again in future when they up the ethanol content.
